Class 7 A enthusiastically participated in the conduction of morning assembly today in the school. The theme for the assembly was festival of BAISAKHI.All students participated in events such as prayer, poem, speech, quiz and cultural dance. Events like these are essential for the development of various aspects in a student's life like team spirit, cooperation and building one's confidence.

An interesting magic show was organised in our school DAV Pushpanjali on 12th of April for classes 6,7 and 8. The students thoroughly enjoyed the show and learnt a few magic tricks also.

Students of class 7A and 8A were taken to the Science lab to demonstrate an experiment to show the presence of starch kept in sunlight and what happens when a leaf is covered with an aluminum foil.

Today students of Class 6,7 and 8 Cambridge were taken to an educational trip to The National War Memorial India Gate New Delhi.The Memorial has been recently inaugurated in the month of February this year.The structure pays homage to around twenty six thousand soldiers who were martyred in various wars fought by our country.

Yuri's night celebration is an international celebration held on April 12 to commemorate milestones in space exploration.It is named after Yuri Gagarin ,the first human to launch into space on April 12,1961 in Vostok Capsule. Students of Class 7 and 8 were taken to the Science lab to observe the structure of guard cells and stomata under the microscope. Students were demonstrated the method to prepare a temporary mount of epidermal cells of lily leaf which was stained and then observed under the microscope.
