DAV PUSHPANJALI celebrated Mother's Day by organizing TRACK and FIELD EVENTS in the school on 10th May 2019. The event was organized in the evening from 4pm to 6pm and got an overwhelming response by tremendous participation by mothers of students from class PP to class 8. Students also made their presence felt by cheering their mothers. Respected Principal Maam Ms.Rashmi Raj Biswal also cheered the crowd. Mothers participated in a number of events like Hurdle race, dribble and shoot, throwing event, Tug of War and many more.

An online interaction program was organised in our school on 6th May,2019 in collaboration with SPACE organisation. Students got an opportunity to share their ideas, views and create a platform where the exchange of knowledge takes place. The Guest for the interactive session were Dr.Koushik Chatterjee, Doctoral candidate at the University of Amsterdam. He worked with the Event Horizon Telescope theory team, which helped to interpret the recently released black hole image using multiple simulations. The topic for the interaction was "First Ever Picture of Black Hole".

An Inter house competition was conducted today for class 6,7 and 8 in our school. The theme for the competition was My Guiding Principles, students had to speak on their role model in life,how and why are they inspired from their role model. A parent judge was invited from every class.

"THE LOVE FOR ALL LIVING CREATURES IS THE MOST NOBLE ATTRIBUTE OF MAN." As said by Sir Charles Darwin, today on the occasion of EARTH DAY, students were taken to the herbal garden of our school to promote a sense of appreciation and responsibility towards mother nature. Let us all take a pledge to contribute our share in conserving the nature.
